The deep beautiful melancholy. I don't know a lot about everything, but I do know a lot about the part of everything that I know, which is people. As of this past Saturday, my running buddy Lindsey and I unofficially. Decided to finish our stretch of running one official race every month until September 2012. Why? Because it's so darn fun. Chicago Half Marathon 5K- September 11, 2011. Monster Dash 5K- October 29, 2011. Turkey Trot 8K- November 25, 2011. Jingle Bell Run 5K- December 17, 2011. Sad few days...

Tuesday, January 31, 2012. These smoothies have been getting me by while I have this cold (stuffy nose=. No real sense of taste=little appetite) So these have basically served as my breakfast (and dinner) most days. I set four resolutions:. Visit a part of the United States that I have never been to before. Cook a meal every week. Top Secret One which was.get a new job! In 2013, I completed 3 of those goals:. Read 17 1/2 books. I am struggling to make it through The Beautiful and Damned. Visited 3 new cities in the US - Iowa City, Ft. Meyer's, and Nashville. Did not cook once a week. Not even close. Got a new job at Ares and have been there 6 months :). My resolutions for 2014 are:. Take a calligraphy class.
