An old historic town on the tip of a midcoast Maine peninsula. This past weekend the 2013 Castine Plein Air Festival was held there. Ainters from all around the US arrived to participate. Birdsart paintings, sketches and more. Lincoln is a pretty small village west from Spokane, located on the Columbia river. I spent there with Lynne and Tim about a week. We painted on different locations. This area offers a lot of painting subjects. Rocks, water, small woods, valleys. Thera are small secluded bays along the river. On some places the water is colored turquoise. If you want to spent some days in this area, I would recommend to rent this cabin in Lincoln. E-mail (not published) *.

Tuesday, March 15, 2011. A really great thing happens when you are out doors painting.stuff just happens and you roll with it. Hey, we know the rules of the game: its gets hot, its gets cold, it gets dark, the wind stops blowing, the wind starts blowing, the tide comes in, the tide goes out, it starts snowing, raining, sleeting or.it gets sunny!
