Marin County has tracts of open space and parks with miles of trails and fire roads to explore. Often, I hike with my husband or friends, but many times I enjoy the solitude of walking with just my dogs. My mind gets to rest in my surroundings, slow down the chatter, and just be with my quiet footfalls, bird song, or wind in the trees.
