This collection of 80 paintings captured the essence of Summer in the Tamar Valley and was arranged in our house in St Dominic. As usual the majority were sold in the first few days and hundred of visitors enjoyed their visit to this secluded venue. Simon Parker’s review in the Western Morning News. From early in her career Mary has received many write-ups. John Dalton, writing in the Guardian, described her as that delicious water colourist (22 May 1980);. As boldly taking in the whole vista with its flow of field, hill and sky, changing pattern and atmosphere (9 September 1981);. She has great talent and a complete mastery of landscape from the delicate detail, flowers and plants in the foreground through sweeping vistas to high horizons of the Devon/Cornwall border (26 November 1981).

But then, they were Barbara’s blocks and I was faithful to use all her block patterns and not substitute. Some patterns where quite intricate and challenging to make, others were a whiz to piece. July 27, 2014. In the year of 2014, I will be entering my first of High School; Freshmen year. To start off by saying, wow, that went by so quickly. Can’t say I’m all too happy with the fact I only have four more years left to be a teenager. Scary stuff, but that is what life is all about. Am I correct?
