Nearly every weekday morning, my buddy Thomas and I walk from the back porch to the end of the driveway. It’s close to a quarter mile so it is a nice way to wake up in the morning. Located in Cameron, NC. While they may be mini in stature, Minis produce 70% of the steak of cattle twice their size! We sell by the 1/4, 1/2 or whole beef. An average side is 130-170 lbs hanging wt (which is before trimming and deboning), then the actual wt received in cuts is about 50-70% of the hanging wt. Vacuum seale d, freezer-ready packages with the cut and weight noted. Our beef is processed at a USDA certified facility. No growth hormones, promotants or steroids are ever fed to our cattle.

The week after memorial Day we traveled with our friends Bob and Mona, they aboard WaterDawg 6 and we aboard Gilraker to River Dunes Marina. It was a very nice day as we pulled out of New Bern. Sun and a slight breeze. What’s that all about? Where are the Cabana Boys? We loved the pool; gee why can’t I can’t I have one at my house? Well I suppose it does make earning money a bit easier! Sorry we had to get back to real life!

They removed a water tank from the cockpit and found water damage in the spaces under the storage boxes on the roof as well. The propane tank is being replaces as well for cooking gas. After eight (8) glorious and very busy years we are cleaning out the farm and renting it out. It will go into very good hands as we turn it over to a young couple who we trust will care for it as their very own. We have known her parents for years and love them like family. This young couple already has chickens so at least the chickens will be comfy! So is this my last blog here?
