Mary's Rambling Thoughts: Giving up Fast Food

http://marysramblingthoughts.blogspot.com/2014/03/giving-up-fast-food.html

Thursday, March 6, 2014. Giving up Fast Food. Well Lent started yesterday and already I was "tested.". Tonight we went to McD's for Symon's first birthday dinner (a tradition to bring the kids there on their 1st bday) and I was good and didn't eat.but it was hard.you don't realize how easy it is to just pick up a french fry when breaking them apart for a 1 year old to eat. Mary's Rambling Thoughts: Let's try this again

http://marysramblingthoughts.blogspot.com/2014/12/let-try-this-again.html

Monday, December 29, 2014. Lets try this again. It's been a long time since I've posted in my blog. I've gotten out of the habit of both posting and reading the blogs that I enjoy.  I need to get back into both habits. So let's see if I remember how ;). Things I'm grateful for. 1 My husband. He is the best thing that has happened to me in my life. We've been together almost 20 years and he makes me happier each day than the day before. 5 My family.no explanation necessary. .they're family. This Is the Life.

Mary's Rambling Thoughts: Happy 2015!

http://marysramblingthoughts.blogspot.com/2015/01/happy-2015.html

Thursday, January 1, 2015. I am not one for New Year's Resolutions.  I think they set you up for failure. At least my history is that I seem to fail every time I set a resolution. So as I have done in the past I will set my goals for the year and hope I get close to making them or make them.  But this year I am also making a 2015 Bucket List and I may make my life long Bucket List. So here is a start to my Goals (they are always changing and evolving). Get back to actively scrapbooking. Is to be continued.

Mary's Rambling Thoughts: How cold was it?

http://marysramblingthoughts.blogspot.com/2015/01/how-cold-was-it.html

Monday, January 19, 2015. How cold was it? So the first week of the year brought some very cold weather. How cold you ask.well the picture says it all. We put some beer out on our back porch to keep cold since our frig isn't that big and forgot about it. Well I knew alcohol would but I thought it had to get a lot colder than it had gotten. Our lowest temperature the second week of the month got to about 20 degrees below zero with wind chills of 65 below. Posted by Mary Stubblefield. This Is the Life.

Staying up in a down economy - The Frugal Girl

http://www.thefrugalgirl.com/2011/07/staying-up-in-a-down-economy

Cheerfully living on less. Staying up in a down economy. July 14, 2011. Yesterday I got this note from a reader, and instead of sending my reply back to just her, I thought I’d share my response here because I’m sure she’s not the only one wondering how to navigate these tough economic times. How do you stay so calm and optimistic when it seems like the future looks bleak for America? First off, I have to say that I totally love that you have a “Happy Blogs” file…that’s awesome! So, if you absorb a lot o...

Global Warming… and Red vs. Blue | Nuke's Blog

http://blog.nuclearproductions.org/2009/03/global-warming-and-red-vs-blue/comment-page-1

Global Warming… and Red vs. Blue. March 2, 2009. I have a long list of random thoughts to blog about someday. Well, today I’m finally going to put my thoughts on global warming out there for people to read. Years ago I was reading some New Age sorts of books, just to see what other people might have floating around in their heads. There’s some really interesting stuff out there. If you want to read some pretty wacky things, check out. Made similar predictions of the future state of the Earth after such e...

Jesus in the OT. Jesus in the OT – Exodus 20. December 22, 2014. And God spoke all these words, saying,. Your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. You shall have no other gods before me. Matthew includes a passage describing how Jesus Christ used an example to put the first commandment in terms we might better understand. Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal,. While on the surface of the fi...

http://blog.nuclearproductions.org/2014/08/jesus-in-the-ot-exodus-16

Jesus in the OT. Jesus in the OT – Exodus 16. August 31, 2014. Another month gone by, another chapter to post? Boy am I working through this slowly. :) Let’s pick things back up again with Exodus chapter 16, where we find the Israelites grumbling against Moses, as they often do. They set out from Elim, and all the congregation of the people of Israel came to the wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second month after they had departed from the land of Egypt.

Jesus in the OT. Jesus in the OT – Exodus 17. September 13, 2014. Time for another post in this series, and I’ll stick to a single chapter for today. Let’s get going with the first passage in Exodus 17, where we find Moses striking a rock to provide water for the Israelites per God’s directions. All the congregation of the people of Israel moved on from the wilderness of Sin by stages, according to the commandment of the. And camped at Rephidim, but there was no water for the people to drink. And all wer...

A Journey of Self-Discovery | Nuke's Blog

http://blog.nuclearproductions.org/2015/02/a-journey-of-self-discovery

A Journey of Self-Discovery. February 28, 2015. 8220;A Journey of Self-Discovery.” I see this a lot these days in articles online. I read it in books. I watch it in movies. I get to experience it watching the copious number of reality TV shows we’re bombarded with. Ok, the last one is more like watching a continual train wreck, but you get the picture. And Jesus said to him, Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone. I glorified you on earth, having accomplished the work that you gave me t...
