The last post was supposed to go up last week, so you get TWO today. How exciting. Let’s have a little chat about my life. I’ve hit a low lately and I hit it hard. It’s not quite as bad as that week during the first quarter when I went home from school in tears every day (did I not mention that before? Graders, 2 with my 4. Teaching ...

I spent the next two weeks telling everyone that I wanted to go and eventually the school's director agreed that I could go. The plan was a little something like this:. Friday - leave early, drive to Bulgan and visit two schools there then continue on to Khutag-Ondor (maybe). Sunday - visit Teshig's school then head home.

I'm not supposed to post it on here for the whole wide world to see, but I'd love to hear from you and give it out! Number your letters in case some don't make it - it will lessen confusion when the next letter refers to things that were in a letter that went MIA. Write "Airmail" on the envelopes. Write “via China” on mail. Things You Can Send Me.

For some reason, the blog isn't loading correctly on Internet Explorer. To see everything properly, try a different browser (you should anyway). A free trip to Bangkok. One of the advantages of Mongolia over Bangkok is the constant presence of a blue sky. The sky might not be a thing of beauty, but there were many other wonderful things to see. For example, there is this lovely canal near the hotel and hospital:. I took a boat down it a couple times. A mural with cowfish and horsefish:. And that, folks, ...

Then to round off 2012, my first entire year not being in the US, we had a nice New Years party where I sadly couldn't dance becaus...

For some reason, the blog isn't loading correctly on Internet Explorer. To see everything properly, try a different browser (you should anyway). What do you MEAN winter just started? The view from my shower house; I think it’s my favorite view in town. How I get to school every day. There's some cliche about a book and its cover. Maybe it's just me, but the next logical question is "so why the hell are you here? I don't understand how people can come to a country for a few days, only see the biggest city...

For some reason, the blog isn't loading correctly on Internet Explorer. To see everything properly, try a different browser (you should anyway). My month in review. Omii is not a fan of thunderstorms and hides like the baby she is. I know it looks dirty but (a) you try to clean when it never stops raining and all of the dirt has turned into mud and (b) I've cleaned since, thankyouverymuch. But since this is Mongolia, that one short ceremony was just not good enough. I mean, we didn't get to do the sp...
