Proposal: Antimandering - The Masked Retriever. Jul 8th, 2011 07:17 am. Gerrymandering is an issue almost nobody's paying attention to, but it's a huge part of the political problem in the US. Parties in power re-draw lines to make themselves more in power, the process ratchets, and ultimately all districts are safe and the only way to get kicked out of a seat is to not be radical enough so you get hit with a primary challenge. 2011-07-09 07:23 pm (UTC).

Perhaps the defining Mad Science comic on the internet. Completed in 2007, Narbonic is presently in reruns with commentary. Helen Narbon, the beautiful, occasionally flirty, but deeply evil protagonist creates a whirlwind of mayhem nobody, especially the reader, can escape. David Simpson delivers a comic that is very pro looking and takes pages from both Calvin and Hobbes and Bloom County. If you're missing either one, this comic may not replace them, but it certainly helps. Dan and Mab's Furry Adventures.

Blender Sequence Editor: MIXDOWN. So I started using Blender for video editing around the time I got my hands on Pencil. Blender turns out to be really amazingly quick to use for stringing image files into video clips, and has audio support and tons of features I haven't even learned how to use yet. Is an awesome open-source repository of .stl files of models, as well as a portal to a community of people who build their own 3D printers. These people obviously could be handy allies to us Blenderers. For example I totally just uploaded open-source .stl files of the platonic solids along with the 10-sided "bastard die" to thingiverse. Designed and built X-axis table mk3 for CheesecakeCNC. Soldered up 6 opto endstops for same. Assembled, updated the firmware of, and tested Gen3 electronics.
