Ella is talking up a storm and in the past couple weeks has been putting 2 words together. e.g. she'll look in a mirror and say, "see Ella" or she'll say, "more jump" or "more three" (since I say, "one, two, three! Jamie, Julie, Kaylee, Andy and Ella. What's happening with the Caesar family? Friday, August 29, 2014. Dobby Hat, part 1. Ella likes to put her blanky Dobby on her head and calls it her Dobby hat. Many times when I go to get her from her nap, shes sitting up in bed wearing her Dobby hat. On another note, Ella is super congested right now, so it's a good thing her MRI wasn't scheduled for this week! We'll see how she's doing in the morning. Sunday, November 27, 2011. Kaylee's Thanksgiving Feast at preschool was a week before Thanksgiving. She knew Andy and I would be there, but was surprised that Jamie, Poppy (Dan) and Baba (Barb) came as well. The kids sang a couple songs ("I'm Glad I'm Not a Turkey on Thanksgiving Day" and "Hello, Mr. Turkey") and said a prayer, then we ate and hurried out to let the next round of Feasters gather. Thursday, April 28, 2011. This one's actually from the day before Easter when we had a birthday party and our neighborhood egg hunt. Kaylee wanted to hold Andy and have me take their picture. At 12 he called to say that they'd called off the work for the day, but he was stuck in traffic (about 2/3 of the way to his destination). We go through the whole bedtime routine and just as Im trying to put her in bed she frantically points to the curtains saying, peek! So not only hiding in the curtains, but me taking pictures and her running over to laugh at herself in each one has also become part of the routine it seems. *note to self: start bedtime earlier*.
