This Side of the Pulpit. What the world looks like from here. Thursday, February 26, 2009. Teenaged Ears, Apparently. Created by Train Horn. My pirate name is:. Even though there's no legal rank on a pirate ship, everyone recognizes you're the one in charge. You tend to blend into the background occaisionally, but that's okay, because it's much easier to sneak up on people and disembowel them that way. Arr! Get your own pirate name from piratequiz.com. Part of the fidius.org network. Well, no. We sho...

Tuesday, November 29, 2005. Joel Osteen and the Seminary. On July 16th Lakewood Church in Houston, TX celebrated it's move to the Compaq Center. At the opening there were two interesting comments made by Joel's family. The first by his mother Dodie:. I’m so proud of Joel. He’s just done such a tremendous job. He loves people. He hasn’t been to seminary. Thank God for that! The second comment was from his brother, Dr. Paul Osteen:. Posted by Bob Hunter @ Tuesday, November 29, 2005. Links to this post.

Friday, August 19, 2005. How Many Have Been Killed Because of Religion? The accusation is often made by the non-religious that more people have been killed in the name of religion than for any other reason in human history. Mind you, they make this accusation without providing any evidence. For those people, here are some statistics:. People Killed By Godless Individuals:. 15 million - 2 million ( Los Angeles Times. Blonde moment: December 2004
http://ablondmoment.blogspot.com/2004_12_01_archive.html
And the silver spoon. Friday, December 24, 2004. Dear Friends and Family,. In those days Ceaser Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world. (This was the first census that took place while Quirinius was governor of Syria.) And everyone went to his own town to register. Suddenly, a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, 'Glory to God in the highest,. And peace on earth to men on whom his favor rests.'. Well, we are back fr...

Blonde moment: July 2005

And the silver spoon. Saturday, July 09, 2005. One of the best stories with a disputable ending. And speaking of conflicted, that’s Ashley. He is absolutely disgusting. Totally unworthy of Mellie. If I were Mellie’s friend, I’d smack the girl the minute she thought of marrying him. No, they do not suit. If there were no Scarlet there would be someone else. And here’s an interesting thought do you think that if there were no Ashley, that she would have made an honest man out of Rhett? Josh is joining the ...

Blonde moment: June 2005
http://ablondmoment.blogspot.com/2005_06_01_archive.html
And the silver spoon. Monday, June 27, 2005. You’re foaming at the shoe. I got into the building looking like a wet dog. I put my bag on the X-Ray machine belt, handed the security agent my keys and ID, and go through the X-Ray scanner. The agent noticed, You’re foaming at the shoe! Now, this is not the usual greeting one expects to receive. But, sure enough, there was a bubbly substance coming out of my shoe. Posted by Consecutive Odds @ 1:21 PM. And the silver spoon. Sunday, October 31, 2004. I'm going to primarily be doing FOXNEWS, but I'll tune in on occassion to The Patriot and NBC. And, maybe if I can talk Josh into helping, I can have both TVs running, or at least have him take care of the radio end. Posted by Consecutive Odds @ 8:10 AM. Wednesday, October 27, 2004. Blonde moments from the last few days. Well, I got there and back safely, so I’m OK. And there is my traveling story. Posted by Consecutive Odds @ 9:38 PM. We have a success!

Epistles from Exile: Sermon for 6/14/15: Trinity II
http://pastoralkorn.blogspot.com/2015/06/sermon-for-61415-trinity-ii.html
This world is not my home. (I Peter 2:9-12). Sunday, June 14, 2015. Sermon for 6/14/15: Trinity II. I hope to have the audio going by the time we get back from vacation. *sigh*. Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We know we are surrounded by so many who are hungering and thirsting for something more in their lives. But where are they? But that's the wrong question! Jesus tells them that they don't really want bread in the kingdom of God. They've got...
