Welcome to the Masterton Tramping Club website, we are a small, friendly and active club. We offer a wide variety of adventures throughout the year. These trips vary from easy, one day walks, to multi day camping trips in the south island. We meet on the first Wednesday of each month (except January), the Masterton Community Centre, 41 Perry Street. Visitors and prospective members are to come along to meetings and join a trip. About the Masterton Tramping Club. We are a small club with around 40 members, catering for a variety of fitness levels with shorter easy trips and a few longer and faster excursions. We meet on the first Wednesday of each month (except January) at the Masterton Community Centre 41 Perry Street at 7.30pm. Meetings start at 7.30pm, and at most meetings we have a guest speaker or some form of training.

To contact us regarding our trip schedule contact us. 4-6 hours, possibly some hills. Suitable for beginners. Plenty of stops. 5-8 hours, some experience required, fewer rest stops, almost certainly some hill work. 6 hours, Good fitness required, may go off track. Stops for lunch and ‘smoko’.
