This is my picture journal of my family, my travels, and other key happenings in my life. Enjoy! Saturday, February 07, 2015. Nate and Family Visiting Vancouver - February 5-7, 2015. Friday morning it was raining but we went to the Portland Zoo and had a great time. Traffic was really bad so we didn't get to stay as long as we would have liked. There weren't many people there so that was nice. We enjoyed watching the monkeys. The penguins were fun too. Elijah, Brielle, and Adalei at the penguin exhibit.

This is my picture journal of my family, my travels, and other key happenings in my life. Enjoy! Sunday, May 31, 2015. Timothy Lake, Oregon - May 30, 2015. Timothy Lake is in the Mount Hood National Forest. It is 1,500 acres. It was even more beautiful than the pictures show. This is me kayaking. I was a little nervous as the water is 45 to 80 feet deep. Mount Hood is in the background. I was washing dishes. I loved the hammock! We had fun watching the mother ducks with their ducklings. I was so tired!

Saturday, December 24, 2011. We went with all the family to Cal Poly last night to do some bowling. It was such a fun time, we used 3 lanes and cheered and laughed! Sunday, September 2, 2012. First Day of school. The night before the first day of school we go out to dinner as a family and the kids chose olive garden, then we let them pick out a new outfit for their first day of school. Carson and Brooklyn were both excited for their first day. Brooklyn got Mrs. Brownlee as her teacher, Carson also had her for Kinder so B knows her pretty well! Saturday, January 28, 2012. Carson and Jared were playing a catch game where they would throw a ball up to the wall and then catch it. Grandpa taught Carson how to play Risk on the computer and he won! We had the traditional Christmas eve dinner on a smaller scale then usually. Carson was so funny, he was so excited and all ready to carve pumpkins but once he cut the top off he pulled out 3 seeds and was done. He said he just wanted to be done. Tuesday, July 24, 2012. This last weekend the kids and I went camping in Morro Bay with 3 of Carson's friends and their families. We sat around the campfire and roasted marshmallows and spent the whole day on Sat. at the Beach! Our campsite was right next to a little hill with some trails on it and some trees that made a great fort, so the kids were all playing Ninjago which is a Lego ninja show and were having the time of their lives! Jeff and I hiked from the Johnston Ridge Observatory to Spirit Lake - approximately 7.7 miles. We enjoyed eating some wild huckleberries along the way.
