http://mochilafamily.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 28, 2011. Magic vs. Wizards Game - 2/4/11. After a very long time, my hubby and I got to go on a super fun date! All thanks to my awesome father-in-law and sis-in-law Angie, since they babysat Alejandrito. He loves them. I had been wanting to see the Orlando Magic since Alex got me into basketball during last year's NBA Playoffs. Here are some pics! 12 Dwight Howard is a Beast! That man can dunk! As expected, the Magic won! I love my esposito :). I want to see them LIVE. Fri, Jun 3, 2011.

Conor and Dayna's World: Enter Hazel: Leg 9: Inle Lake
http://i-irish.blogspot.com/2013/04/leg-9-bagan-to-inle-lake.html
Conor and Dayna's World: Enter Hazel. Monday, April 8, 2013. Leg 9: Inle Lake. We were nearing the end of our trip and actually had no idea where we were going the last few days in Myanmar. Inle Lake sounded charming, beautiful, and different than the other areas we had already been so we went for it! We were forewarned it was really busy in Inle with the Balloon Festival and it might be hard to find a place to stay. But, they said the monastery always takes people in if hotels are full. He said the next...

Conor and Dayna's World: Enter Hazel: Leg 8: Bagan
http://i-irish.blogspot.com/2013/04/leg-8-bagan.html
Conor and Dayna's World: Enter Hazel. Thursday, April 4, 2013. After a hellish night on the train, we finally arrived in Bagan. Earlier than expected, which we were happy about. Nice to get off the train! I thought they had misunderstood me. Then he pointed to another door off of it and showed us the restroom. It was a western toilet- yeah! People would stare and wave at me wherever we went; get their babies to wave, too. Hilarious! He took us around the rest of the day and we saw everything we wanted to...

Conor and Dayna's World: Enter Hazel: Leg 7: Mandalay, Myanmar

Conor and Dayna's World: Enter Hazel. Tuesday, April 2, 2013. Leg 7: Mandalay, Myanmar. This sign made me laugh. I've never seen so many batteries for sale. It's what keeps Cambodia and Myanmar "running" it seems. ; ). Plus we didn't feel like targets wandering with everything on our back. ; ). It was an interesting place for sure, just mostly tainted by the train station and the train ride we took that night. haha! The highlight of this town was my beautiful, old horse puppet we found! My butt was movin...

Kent and Denise Conder Family: half-marathon
http://kdconderfamily.blogspot.com/2013/10/half-marathon.html
Overall I count this experience as one of the hardest things I've ever forced myself to do. I wouldn't say the experience was great, but the sense of accomplishment is worth it. How's that for some negativity? Would I do it again. Not now, but maybe some time in the long distant future when I weigh 100 lbs and can run like a gazelle. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
