Kelp Futures: November 2010
http://spsss.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Hello, I'm John Glover. Believe me, it's a pleasure. Welcome to my life - but in text. If I have an unexpressed thought about myself, expect it to be expressed right here as demented ramblings of a mad-man. Friday, 12 November 2010. I Am Roz Doyle. So, three exams down, two to go. It's currently the end of the exam-filled roster week in which I had zero exams. ZERO. My last two are on the same day (what's up with that? As if spending 6 hours there is somehow an homage to my old school days? Excited for a...

Kelp Futures: July 2010
http://spsss.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Hello, I'm John Glover. Believe me, it's a pleasure. Welcome to my life - but in text. If I have an unexpressed thought about myself, expect it to be expressed right here as demented ramblings of a mad-man. Sunday, 25 July 2010. Why do I keep listening to Kylie Minogue classics this afternoon? I've got Fever written all over me. Not a clue. House? Need funds. Employment? I'm going to be eighteen in just over two months now, which frightens me a tad. But of course, I'm also very excited for the new op...

I can do anything I want! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I'm eigh...

Beach Bound: Just another day at the commissary
http://wearebeachbound.blogspot.com/2010/05/just-another-day-at-commissary.html
Follow our journey as we make our first PCS move as a family. Monday, May 24, 2010. Just another day at the commissary. Well this was a first this morning. There I was.I had just entered the commissary for my weekly shopping trip. I walked through the doors and held my breath as I walked through the stinky flowers in the breezeway and then when I stepped into the store, I changed my sunglasses out for my regular glasses. Without my glasses, I'm about as good as a blind person. I had my cart sort of in th...

Beach Bound: We are here!
http://wearebeachbound.blogspot.com/2010/05/we-are-here.html
Follow our journey as we make our first PCS move as a family. Wednesday, May 12, 2010. I survived my first PCS, despite having been married to the military for the last 4 and a half years - most people move twice in that time frame. We've never moved once. The drive was long. Dreadfully boring. In southern Illinois, there is a mix of flat farmland and rolling hills. In Missouri, there is flat farmland. In Arkansas, there is more flat farmland. We have our house. Well, until we meet again! Now imagine tha...

Beach Bound: Week 2
http://wearebeachbound.blogspot.com/2010/05/week-2.html
Follow our journey as we make our first PCS move as a family. Friday, May 21, 2010. My second week here is drawing to a close. Has it really been 15 days since I moved here? It doesn't seem possible that I've been here that long and at the same time, I feel like I've been here forever with all that we've packed into the last two weeks. We looooooooooove us some mexican food! We've never had a guest bedroom before! Guests will have their own queen-size bed, TV and laptop to use! May 21, 2010 at 8:52 AM.

Kelp Futures: High School King
http://spsss.blogspot.com/2010/12/high-school-king.html
Hello, I'm John Glover. Believe me, it's a pleasure. Welcome to my life - but in text. If I have an unexpressed thought about myself, expect it to be expressed right here as demented ramblings of a mad-man. Tuesday, 7 December 2010. I just got labeled Oprah for my way of thinking. You know in the movies (or maybe in your own life, depending on how boring you really are) when the 10-year-old kid gets home from school with bruises, and his maw-maw says something optimistic like "bullies are just cowards!
