Ms. Bowie's Blog: September 2008
http://bethanybowie.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 23, 2008. Oh my gosh, if last week wasn't the craziest! 160;We had open house until 9:00 on Tuesday night. Interims went out last week, so I was grading until about 10 every night. I have decided to be a coach for quiz bowl and had training on that as well. Let's just say I hope this week is less hectic. Although I must admit that time is flying! Wednesday, September 10, 2008. Ms. Bowie's Blog: October 2008
http://bethanybowie.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 23, 2008. 160;I stopped my lesson and gave them a pop quiz over their reading homework. Of course they were quiet after that, but I hate doing stuff like that. I know that it is punishing everyone for the actions of those who cannot gain self control. However, at the end of my day, one of my students walked by my class and said, "Hi, favorite teacher! 160;I guess you just have to live for moments like those. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Wednesday, December 3, 2008. Last Blog and suggested books. I guess this is my last blog for the class. It took me a long time to actually get around to blogging, but I kind-of enjoy it. I wanted to give more book reviews, but I don't have time. I really enjoyed James Patterson's Maximum Ride series. Yes, I know that he wrote them for a younger crowd, but they were fast-paced, environmentally conscious. Anyway, they are both great reads. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Zak Clark - Bulldog Coach: December 2008
http://bulldogcoach.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Zak Clark - Bulldog Coach. Tuesday, December 9, 2008. I've got to document what happened in my class the other day. One of my students asked if I was the same age as Mr. Jenkins. After finding out his age I informed that student I was older than Mr. Jenkins. Immediately, this began a guessing game to my actual age (28). And what was the most common answer? Talk about a bruise to the ego. It must be true that teaching makes you grow old quick. Posted by Zak Clark. Wednesday, December 3, 2008. He is SPED a...

Wednesday, December 3, 2008. This first photo is one of the great things about my job. I took the FFA. Show team to a district goat show and this three year old young lady was showing her goat for the first time and she was great. You could probably. Tell her whole family raises goat and shows. Our team done very well in the show. One student received. Reserve champion in class and another won 3rd place overall. I was very proud of them. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
