Response to Readings 9/2 (ashley trevino). 1 It gives children a chance to experiment and learn in their own way to solve the problem, instead of just telling and showing them its done a certain way. 3 I have mixed feelings about this argument. I do think its great to allow kids time to experiment and discover things, but I also know there are children (such as my self) that like to know the stops and basic facts before doing anything.
