The Ortman Family: Happy 4th!
http://ortmanfamily.blogspot.com/2010/07/happy-4th.html
Tuesday, July 6, 2010. What a busy, fun weekend! We had such a good time visiting with family and friends. On Thursday night, we packed up and headed up to the lake. Matt works from home, so he was able to take his laptop and just work from his parent's lake house. We took the boys to the playground and visited the hotdog stand for lunch! Friday night everyone started coming up to the lake. We were very surprised to see that Jack's cousin, Parks, had broken his arm! Pictures from the 4th and Glunt reunion.

http://ortmanfamily.blogspot.com/2011/07/summertime.html
Friday, July 8, 2011. We've been so busy that I've neglected my family blogging! Summer is here and there has been so much going on. The boys are loving the warm (hot! Weather and have enjoyed going to the pool, lake, and splash parks! We had a busy 4th of July weekend and we are getting ready to go on a short vacation to Chicago in a few days. Jack is 5 1/2 and is getting ready for Kindergarten! This summer he also went to a local church's VBS program and had such a good time! He loves books and I can o...

The Ortman Family: Winter fun!
http://ortmanfamily.blogspot.com/2010/02/winter-fun.html
Thursday, February 11, 2010. Warning: Long post below! We are enjoying the snow here and Jack has been having fun sledding and playing in the snow with his neighbor friend, Isaiah. The schools have had some snow days and that has made for some long days cooped up in the house with a 12 week old and a 4 week old! We've started a sticker chart and Jack has been doing pretty well staying in his room until 7:00 am and has enjoyed his 'rewards' of going to the McDonald's playplace! We have some fun things com...

The Ortman Family: Long days, even longer nights
http://ortmanfamily.blogspot.com/2010/01/long-days-even-longer-nights.html
Thursday, January 14, 2010. Long days, even longer nights. We have been having some interesting nights around here! Last Thursday we decided it was time for Jack's pacifier to 'break'. I snipped the tip of it off and then let him find out it was 'broken'. At first he tried to suck on it, but then declared it 'broken', and promptly threw it in the trash! We were shocked with that response and hoped that it meant he was ready to be without it. Nope! Henry is 8 weeks old now and doing great! The doctor was ...

The Ortman Family: Welcome Spring!
http://ortmanfamily.blogspot.com/2010/04/welcome-spring.html
Tuesday, April 6, 2010. It is so lovely outside today! Both the boys are in shorts and Jack is running around outside with his best friend, Isaiah. We are blessed to live in such a wonderful neighborhood with good neighbors and kids all in the same age-range! Jack is doing better with his sleeping (and of course, Henry is still sleeping very well at night). We have figured out that Jack gets overtired and therefore wakes up more during the night. We have started taking naps again - just every oth...I'm a...

The Ortman Family: From Skiing to Sunshine!
http://ortmanfamily.blogspot.com/2011/03/from-skiing-to-sunshine.html
Sunday, March 13, 2011. From Skiing to Sunshine! I hope you are enjoying the sunshine here in Indiana. If you are not in Indiana, I hope you had a lovely weekend wherever you are. We have went from freezing, cold snowy days to warmer, sunny days here. We went snow skiing back in February and wasn't sure if we were going to get home due to a snow storm that blew in on our return. Then, today, Jack and Matt went on a bike ride to the neighborhood playground! What a difference 3 weeks makes. He will be 'gra...

The Ortman Family: Catching up
http://ortmanfamily.blogspot.com/2010/06/catching-up.html
Monday, June 7, 2010. I can't believe it's been over 2 months since my last post! Time goes so fast. Henry is now a sitter! He loves to sit on the floor and play with his toys. You can really tell he thinks he's big stuff when Jack will sit with him and play. He seems to like his baby food ok, but his eyes literally bug out when he sees us eating 'big people food'! I have a feeling the baby food won't even be touched once he gets his hands on our food! Matt and I are also doing well. Matt's job keeps...

The Ortman Family: SMILES!! (Daddy and Mommy's Christmas present from Henry!)
http://ortmanfamily.blogspot.com/2009/12/smiles.html
Thursday, December 31, 2009. Daddy and Mommy's Christmas present from Henry! Henry is 6 weeks old and is smiling like crazy! He loves to smile the most at Jack, but will give Matt and I some great smiles as well. He also is starting to coo and make noises. I absolutely love this stage and it makes the past 6 weeks of sleepless nights and cries all worth it! Enjoy the pictures and the video! Make sure to watch the video all the way - the best coos are at the end! Henry Smiling and cooing. A tough few days.

The Ortman Family: Henry's Baby Dedication and Waterpark fun!
http://ortmanfamily.blogspot.com/2010/03/henrys-baby-dedication-and-waterpark.html
Thursday, March 11, 2010. Henry's Baby Dedication and Waterpark fun! We have been so excited in our house to see the sunshine! It has been a great week and even though rain is in the forecast, the warmer temperatures are making us smile. Last weekend we dedicated Henry at our church, White River Christian Church. We were blessed to have both sides of our family there to support us! Henry is growing and growing! This weekend we had so much fun going to the Great Wolf Lodge near Cinncinati to have fun with...

The Ortman Family: How time flies!
http://ortmanfamily.blogspot.com/2010/09/how-time-flies.html
Tuesday, September 14, 2010. Did you think I've forgotten about you? This 2 kid thing makes my head hurt and makes time go by twice as fast! Well, what have we been up to? In late July, we visited the Hamilton County 4-H fair. It was so hot! Jack, Henry, and Lily all got to look at the animals and eat lots of fair food. We also were frequent guests at our neighborhood pool! Since Jack took swim lessons, he loves to be in the water and practice his 'swimming'! August was such a hot month here! We started ...
