Saturday, August 28, 2010. This is the finished 11X14 graphite drawing that was started last week. I had a lot of fun doing this drawing. It brought back a lot of hunting memories for me. I had so much fun that I've decided to do a series of drawings with duck hunting as the theme. Keep watching in the days ahead for the next in the series. He was covered in sweat and happy to have survived another pre-season work out. He had his game jersey and pads with. Him so I told him to try them on. Sunday, February 12, 2012. This is an 18 X 11 acrylic on gessoed board of Canadian Geese landing on an evening cornfield. This is another one of those scenes from my imagination. It was fun to paint with the different motions of the geese. I watch geese go over my house every evening as they go from a local lake to feed in nearby cornfields.
