Mathletes Challenge 2015 dates announced. Round One Update →. Round 1 Postponed Until Next Week. The Mathletes Challenge Round One is postponed due to inclement weather. We will start the competition next Wednesday (2/25) at its regularly scheduled time. This year, we will only have two rounds (Round 1 and the Championship). Monthly Archives: February 2015. Mathletes Round 1 Postponed…again. We will still have the competition. As I wrote in my last email, we will plan on doing this Tuesday. I’ll send the test via email to you that morning. It will be your job to administer the test (giving students 20 minutes per half to compete) and of course this will be on the honor system. Rules | Mathletes Challenge

The competition is broken into two halves. Teams will be asked to complete twenty questions in 20 minutes. At the conclusion of each 20 minute half, teams will receive a grade for their performance and receive a ranking in the competition. Scores will be tabulated at the end of the competition to give an overall score. All five team members must take part in the competition. During the competition, only four students may compete at once. Alternates will sit in a designated area during the competition.
