The Matinee Musical Club was formed in 1913 to encourage musical growth and provide performance opportunities for club members. The Matinee Musical Club formed a youth division to give the students of club members opportunity to perform as well. Two scholarships are awarded each year to student member competition winners who have met the requirements as given in the scholarship competition guidelines.
