This Butterfly Mind: August 2012
http://thisbutterflymind.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Random jottings and things that catch my eye . Tuesday, 7 August 2012. We had a splendid time by the sea in Sussex, oh, ever so long ago now. In between torrential squalls of rain, I took a few snaps of it's loveliness. Early July is already such a distant memory . Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). This Butterfly Mind: Pink and gold
http://thisbutterflymind.blogspot.com/2014/02/pink-and-gold.html
Random jottings and things that catch my eye . Sunday, 9 February 2014. Playing with air dry clay. I would definitely do this again, but I would use Rustoleum Craft Enamel (used here for the pink) for all colours next time: the black was meant to be chalky grey but was a sticky gloss black. This Butterfly Mind: March 2013
http://thisbutterflymind.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Random jottings and things that catch my eye . Wednesday, 20 March 2013. Reader is dead, long live Reader. Along with half the world's geeks. I was dismayed to find that Google was "powering down" (how's that for a euphemism for "killing off"? You can read their justification here: Official Google Reader Blog Powering Down Google Reader. Seems to be build on the Reader API and, on the upside, it's easy-peasy to import your blog subscriptions across. Unlike NetVibes. Monday, 4 March 2013. 8226; Dear Golde...

This Butterfly Mind: August 2013
http://thisbutterflymind.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Random jottings and things that catch my eye . Thursday, 22 August 2013. Sheds dead, baby, sheds dead. We've killed the monster shed. When I say "we", obviously I mean The Boy. And when I say "killed", I mean smashed to smithereens with a massive sledgehammer. And when I say "monster", I mean 15ft by 9ft. I exaggerate not. Feels so good. I can see the back fence now. Can't wait to get planting, but that's a way off still. Next spring. Been a while, no? Here's a nice remake I am pretty pleased with:.

This Butterfly Mind: January 2014
http://thisbutterflymind.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Random jottings and things that catch my eye . Tuesday, 28 January 2014. Experiments in slow cooking. When the Boy is working evenings, I find it difficult to get inspired cooking for one. In an attempt to wean myself off my lazy nursery food habits - fish fingers and mash, beans on toast, soup and a baked potato - I invested in a slow cooker. I started timidly with a couple of recipes designed specifically (or perhaps just marketed? Tagines work really well, this one is adapted from BBC Food. 4 Chuck ev...

http://thisbutterflymind.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Random jottings and things that catch my eye . Friday, 9 November 2012. Nice ghost sign in Walthamstow, near the William Morris Gallery. I played around with it in Photoshop in an attempt to make it legible but to no avail. Any ideas what it says? Please post in the comments if you can make it out! Thursday, 1 November 2012.
