Wednesday, August 27, 2008. Time keeps ticking. Days pass. Seasons change. Holidays come and go. That means that the pain is slowly reducing and things are getting easier, right? I wish it were that predictable. That linear. I don't think that people care less. I don't think that people think about us or Kevin less often. I don't think that people would be unwilling to do whatever we needed, if we were to ask. Will people even understand? Will they think that I'm trying to take advantage of the situation?

She asked about his personality compared to Emily's, mine, and Dawn's. I like it when people ask about him. Parents always love to talk about their kids. But nobody ever asks about a child who died.
