Wednesday, December 05, 2012. Kendall has been sick a lot lately. She had strep throat, and after she finished her medicine she stayed well for a week, then got strep again. When she recovered from her second bout of strep, she got her FluMist vaccine and wound up with a few days of flu symptoms. Then this week she had a couple days of fever, keeping her home from school again. Last night as we pleaded with her to at least try. To blow her nose, she exclaimed, "It's not the snot that's making me sick!

Sunday, August 26, 2012. After church today we went for a hike along the new Red Mountain Park trails. Although the girls were enthused on the way in, it wasn't long before they were groaning about being hot and tired. They managed, though. Monday, July 23, 2012. Misty and I had a mini-vacation this weekend, heading to Atlanta to see yet another performance from 311 (our third within a year - I think we can stop now, don't you? On our way into town we ate at a burger joint in Little Five Points called The Vortex. The outside of their building is shaped like a skull, and you enter through the mouth. The decor may be creepy, but our burgers were superb. Nevertheless, we had a good time. In the morning we had breakfast at Dekalb World Market.

However, I'm sure they did not get out of bed to "check on" the baby Jesus at 1:52 am They also did not wake their parents up one minute later with news of His arrival. Because they were WISE men.
