The Cornstalker's Journal: Matt and Vivian's Blog. Food Family. Fun with friends. All here in Omaha. Et cetera. Vivian and I just finished up a long, hot, and steamy weekend in Boone, Iowa with Jenny Dougan (née Arnold) and our usual bunch of Happy Campers. It’s been a tradition for Jenny to host a camping trip, and this year she and Kody decided to take us to the Des Moines river. It was also ridiculously hot and humid all weekend. The Cornstalker's Journal: June 2013
http://cornstalker.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
This is a personal, occasionally-updated account of things going on in my life here in Nebraska. Thursday, June 27, 2013. Hot dogs, and a spectacular viewing of Super Moon. This is a personal, occasionally-updated account of things going on in my life here in Nebraska. Wednesday, October 16, 2013. Curry, hayracks, and a pumpkin patch. The month of October is always jam-packed with fun events with our circle of friends, and this weekend was certainly no exception. On Friday night, Vivian and I dropped by the Regency Lake and Tennis Club to attend a wedding reception PK with a bunch of her former co-workers. Got into the fun, nobody wanted to sit it out. The new Big Slide.

This is a personal, occasionally-updated account of things going on in my life here in Nebraska. Monday, January 28, 2013. Sushi date, part six. From inside my warm, cozy house. On January 26, Vivian and I were able to leave Hannah with the grandparents and go on our sixth annual Sushi Date together. For those of you who haven't been reading for the past couple years, Vivian and I went to Sakura Bana on the night we "made it official" and started dating, so we've gone out for sushi together. Last Saturda...
