June visitors | Keepin' up with the Joneses
https://mattandlj.wordpress.com/2015/07/30/june-visitors
Keepin' up with the Joneses. Our life back in the middle. Skip to primary content. July 30, 2015. My cousin, Justin, promised me when I moved to Denver 5 years ago that he would come visit. He never made it to Denver in our four years there, so he double promised that he would make it up to Boston. He kept his promise and squeezed in his visit at the very last minute – our second to last weekend in town. (The final weekend was reserved for packing! Amy in front of JFK’s home. Peacefield, seen below, is a...

On our last weekend in Boston, we were ready to tackle packing up all of our belongings. As luck would have it, Matt and I both scored an extra day off of work on the preceding Friday! We thought about spreading out the packing over a three day weekend, but we threw that idea into the wind and set off for our final adventure in New England! The pilg...

Keepin' up with the Joneses. Our life back in the middle. Skip to primary content. June 20, 2015. We were lucky to get visitors from Denver, Washington D.C., and Miami to visit Boston one weekend in May. Six out of the eight of our weekend group were able to grab dinner at a great place, B and G Oysters. In the South End. Super selfie: Emerson, Brad, Clover, Lauren, Me, and Matt. Later in the weekend, I was fortunate to meet up with the remaining two people at the North End’s Improv Asylum. Fill in your ...

From the Midwest to Out West... and Back: 10 Years Later
http://meganmoments.blogspot.com/2013/06/10-years-later.html
From the Midwest to Out West. and Back. Thursday, June 27, 2013. The hole is filled. (Originally they thought my hole was the size of a dime, once inside it was about the size of a nickel.). For the first time I got to see the device working while the nurse took my ECHO. Normally I don't pay much attention; they do their thing and I watch TV, but this nurse took time out to point out the device on the screen, which is now covered a little with tissue. http://beckyandjr.blogspot.com/2011/06/when-in-rome.html
Tuesday, June 14, 2011. How cool is this place? In St Peter's Square outside of the Vatican. Hanging out on the Spanish Steps. The infamous Trevi Fountain. And yes we each threw a penny in. Mom, Dad, JR and I in Campo de Fiori grabbing a beer before our evening walk through the city. The views in Spello were incredible. This is on top of the hill where we stayed. JR and I at dinner on the last night. The food was DELICIOUS! I may post more later. Posted by JR and Becky. Now call me back :). Brownsburg, I...

From the Midwest to Out West. and Back. Tuesday, July 30, 2013. My Pure Barre fun continues. A week and a half ago I traveled to Denver for a third round of training. It was a quick trip, but this time I had another instructor with me. We had the chance to travel around the downtown city area the first day, and then day two was spent in the studio learning new moves before flying home - I told you it was a quick trip! Training with the double bands at corporate, in Denver. View my complete profile.

From the Midwest to Out West... and Back: Compliment Gone Bad
http://meganmoments.blogspot.com/2013/06/compliment-gone-bad.html
From the Midwest to Out West. and Back. Sunday, June 23, 2013. On my phone. At the time I was a hot mess - literally - from sweating all morning, but it definitely made me smile. I found out later that another Soldier, one of Drew's friends, heard what Drew wrote and decided to send one to his wife. Unfortunately, she did not smile when she read it. Their conversation wasn't as humorous/playful. Soldier: You look nice today! Wife: Who was that for? Wife: WTF. Why the h*ll would you write that?

Matt and Lola's Fun Year Away
Matt and Lola's Fun Year Away. Sunday, March 04, 2007. Hope you are well. Since we last wrote, we have been having a slightly more successful time and managing to stay in towns that have phone lines and more than three residents, which is always nice. The second surprise was that instead of going to vineyards all afternoon, we found out that we were actually going on a tour of an olive oil factory and a jam producer’s. At this point I was debating whether we should try to fling ourselves of the windo...
