A girl, her kitten and her crafts. One Hat, Two Hat, Red Hat, Blue Hat. January 3, 2013. Now I can finally show off what I have been working on for the past few months! And get back to knitting my pendulum shawl). First a hat for a friend at work. The pattern is named Fjord. And I knit it with a beautiful red yarn called Rowan Lima that she picked out. Thanks Hubby for modeling it for me! Loved the hat, may have to make one for myself one day. And it knit up really quickly. Finally I knit an earwarmer.

A girl, her kitten and her crafts. December 20, 2012. I gave one of the gifts I had made so I can share it now! I had been wanting to make mittens for a while when I found this pretty little pattern. I really like the basketweave on the cuff. On an unrelated note I had made these two little hats for a teeny tiny newborn. Evelyn’s 2nd birthday has now come and gone, I can hardly believe it I have a 2 year old! She’s such a big, happy girl. Friday, March 30th, was her actual birthday and we enjoyed a nice mellow day together and gave her our gift first thing in the morning and then we had a great breakfast out with my family. The next day, Saturday, we celebrated her birthday with a party! March 12, 2012.
