A Maine Wife: November 2013
http://mattandvickimcfarland.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Sharing little pieces of our life as it unfolds. Saturday, 23 November 2013. My Saturday morning project! It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Thursday, 21 November 2013. In the last month Brett has learned to sit up quite well on the couch. Sometimes he'll just sit there and watch me work around the house. By the looks of the second picture, he has also learned song leading. :). Mama's little Tigger. ( His real title is Piglet.and I'm sure you all can figure out why). Monday, 11 November 2013.

Sharing little pieces of our life as it unfolds. Saturday, 15 March 2014. If you are checking my blog this morning, you will notice that some changes have been made in the last 24 hours. I basically handed my laptop to my husband last night and asked him to help get things set up a little differently. He worked with me for most of the evening and came up with. The look you see this morning ( which I am loving, by the way.). Friday, 14 March 2014. I blinked and my little boy turned 9 months! A dollop of m...

Sharing little pieces of our life as it unfolds. Monday, 26 May 2014. In case you thought it was National BBQ Day. Words cannot express my gratitude to those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for the freedom I enjoy in this country! While many, including myself, enjoyed a holiday today, there were a lot of families who spent the day remembering lost loved ones who died defending our country so we could enjoy holidays like this. All I can say is "Thank you" from the bottom of my heart! Friday, 2 May 2014.

Sharing little pieces of our life as it unfolds. Wednesday, 18 December 2013. Just to add some cuteness to your day! Wednesday, 11 December 2013. Just pics we've taken in the last little while. Tuesday, 10 December 2013. Oh well, it looks so adorable on him, that we put it on him anyway when we are feeling festive. I think he looks just like a little elf in his hat, striped pants, and green socks. :). Mommy and Winky were decorating the house for Christmas when Daddy came home and snapped this picture.
A Maine Wife: March 2015

Sharing little pieces of our life as it unfolds. Tuesday, 17 March 2015. We've had a lot of trouble this winter with our roof leaking because of ice damns that built up from all the snow. Poor Matt did everything he could think of to try to fix the problem including taking a day off work so that he could spend it up on our roof chopping ice with an axe and shoveling snow. He was even up there in the middle of the night once trying to stop leaks! Our back deck had not been shoveled off all winter long, an...

Thursday, December 06, 2012. Nearly there now. Just having a listen to TMS over a cup of tea, so one might think that the training is going well. Vicki has narrowly avoided a wedding day black eye from a sparring glove blocking failure. Got to learn. A bloody nose was enough. She has also ducked a bruised arm from some blood doning yesterday. A day of sorting out a few final bits and bobs will see all in order, so we're much looking forward to seeing everyone over the next few days. There was more cricke...

After church Wednesday night, we headed out to spend a couple of days in Massachusetts. We drove as far as Portland that night, and got to our hotel around one in the morning. The Cornstalker's Journal: Matt and Vivian's Blog. Food Family. Fun with friends. All here in Omaha. Et cetera. The weekend, we celebrated a Savior who is risen with temperatures that definitely have not. There were parts of Nebraska that got upwards of a foot of snow over the Holy holiday weekend, but we somehow escape with just some freezing temperatures. I kicked off Good Friday by paying a brief visit with Chip and Ian. In the kitchen. Grammy gave us some whisk-like. Hannah also made a new friend.
