Thankfully the track crosses the lowest point of the Du Cane range and not over Castle Crag as shown in the photo. Friday, 9 March 2012. This is a beautiful, undulating walk along the edge of button grass plains. Much of the walk is spent looking ahead to Mount Olympus laid out in magnificent panorama. Last of the Buttongrass plains.
