My name is Matt Myers and I would like to host SHARK WEEK. I'm old, I'm married and have a beautiful old daughter. I'm currently working in marketing and web design. I ran my own business for thirteen years. I've been a fan of Discovery Channel since. well. forever (or at least as long as Discovery has been on basic cable). I like adventures. Did you see me getting bit by a police dog. Why do I want to host Discovery's SHARK WEEK? I think an average guy who is a shark fan would be a great host!

Matt often battled with the opinion of some cast upon him for singing christian and secular music but continued to play with several local christian and country bands throughout his 20's.
