It would really simplify things for new coders and get rid of all the const char * and string literal type (its not const char *) confusion. If there ever was a case for IPv6, its in SIP. I'm reading through Apple's Objective-C memory management overview, and they do a good job of hinting to the complexity of autorelease. Without forcing the reader to understand it at that moment.
