This was my first tournament of the season, because I had to pull out of the G.N.O Southern 9-ball Open due to illness. Monday, 25 November 2013. Predator British wheelchair 9-ball Championship. Played Joe Atherton in my first match:. Safety was great in this match, but couldn't pot anything, and you need to take your chances against class players like Roy. Went 0-6 down, he missed an easy 8 in the 7th, and 9 in the 8th so I got 2 racks off him, lost 2-7. Felt great after my match with Roy, made a fantastic 9 to win the first rack (illustrated). Unfortunately I missed the first tournament of the BWPPA season because I had the flu and a chest infection, which I'm only just getting over now after 3 weeks. Congratulations to Tony Southern who won the Main Event to take the title of G.N.O Southern 9-ball Open Champion and close the gap on Fred Dinsmore at the top of the rankings.
