What we’re up to . . . Archive for January, 2015. A New Year’s Retrospective in Verse. On January 4th, 2015 by mish. I sit by the open fire looking back on the year. And wonder how we arrived to be here. The year started out much as to be expected. With snow and cold weather and the family somewhat disaffected. Michele with her work and Imbaw with Saskatoon. It was clear that a change was needed, and soon! We engaged in some skiing to pass the time. A week at Big White, then Easter at Sunshine.

What we’re up to . . . Archive for May, 2012. Michele Runs Half-Marathon in 2:13. On May 27th, 2012 by mish. Following up on my New Years resolution to run a half-marathon. I DID IT! And I ran the whole thing. No walking necessary. 2:13 is 7 minutes faster than I anticipated, entirely thanks to Meesh (preschool friend! Hope some of you can join me for it! For now I’m going to ramp the running down a bit and hit the water with our new kite board! Here’s me and Meesh (and her dog Harley! Loewen Lab @ NRC.
