He accompanied the release with an essay on ambient music theory, and in it he cites a French classical composer named Erik Satie as an influence. Recently, I've been semi-obsessed with the Radiohead B-Side "Polyethylene (Parts 1 and 2)", mainly prompted from this video. Of a live performance of the song in 1997.
