Sunday, 18 December 2011. This weekend I've been in North Wales staying in Nant Peris just at the bottom of the Llanberis pass. With the snowfall across many parts of northern England on Friday morning we decided to pack our winter gear in case anything was in condition. Lewis on the walk in. We hitched up to Pen Y Pass on Saturday morning, kindly picked up by some member of RAF Leeming who were heading round to Ogwen. We walked in on the Pyg Track to Clogwyn y Garnedd. 19 December 2011 at 09:04.

Matt Forshaw: November 2011
http://matthewjforshaw.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 30 November 2011. Patagonia R1 Hoody - Review. Is perhaps one of my favourite pieces of outdoor clothing so after 18 months of use I’m going to offer my thoughts on it here. This is Patagonia’s run down of the product:. Garment that I bought was a R1 Flashpullover. Cragging in Sqamish,BC in my Flash pullover. In Salt Lake City, Utah. It soon became clear that this was indeed going to be an upgrade rather than a replacement for my old Flash pullover. And Rab’s Shadow Hoody. Yes, £120 is a ...

http://matthewjforshaw.blogspot.com/2011/12/drytooling-white-goods.html
Monday, 26 December 2011. Drytooling - White Goods. With a serious lack of winter going on in the UK at the moment, myself and Martin decided to try and cure our cravings of swinging tools by heading down to White Goods. Just outside of Ruthin for some drytooling. We used the excellent topo that can be found on Ramon's website. That it's also covered to a degree in the. 1988 Welsh Winter Climbs. In Ramon's guide is excellent and we found the different sectors without problem. Again Martin then followed m...

Lewis Philip Charles Abbott: A Turban a Day keeps the Racist away.

Lewis Philip Charles Abbott. My cynical views on Mountains, Films and Life in general. Tuesday, 24 May 2011. A Turban a Day keeps the Racist away. Been from the north and having spent three years in Carlisle(probably the most incomprehensibly racist place I have ever been, only second to Wigan) its fair to say I have been around my fair share of racist comments and general abuse. Been in London is so different. Someone should really explain to northern people who are scared of it all that its not too bad.

Stories and photos from the Canadian Rockies. Looking west from South Baldy, Kananskis Country. Site Pages - Info and Maps. Sunday, 5 June 2011. Jeez those new paddles are hard work! They catch so much water; I got up this morning with aching chest and arm muscles. I did the Ghost Dam to Cochrane run. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Beyond the Skyline: Quick catch-up

Stories and photos from the Canadian Rockies. Looking west from South Baldy, Kananskis Country. Site Pages - Info and Maps. Sunday, 19 December 2010. Here's a picture from the opening weekend of CADS. The fall was most notable for the paddling that we got done; we started trying out our boat on whitewater, after a much-needed practice session getting ferries and eddies sorted, on Glenmore Reservoir. We then had some great trips on the Kananaskis River. The Bow between Banff and Canmore. Offering some loc...

Lewis Philip Charles Abbott. My cynical views on Mountains, Films and Life in general. Thursday, 8 December 2011. Im sure the owners of Lidl are having a laugh. A new post has been a long time coming and thanks to some convincing here is a new one. My closest supermarket(small amount of emphasis on the word 'super' here) in London is Lidl. You all live relatively close to one as well. But you never bother to go in because its completely wank. It carries the similar stigma that Aldi. Normally(and by that ...

Lewis Philip Charles Abbott. My cynical views on Mountains, Films and Life in general. Tuesday, 24 May 2011. Another stupid company name. Holmes and Daughters Funeral Directors. Surely no one who has been burying a daughter has ever used this funeral directors? Probably because they have burst out crying and started breaking down before they have even got through the door. Way too bring them feelings roaring back. They are instantly cancelling out a quarter of their market here, idiots.

Ash had booked us all a bunkhouse in Boot for his birthday and everything was set for a really good weekend. I mean, good friends, beer and whiskey, curry and the lakes, whats not to like about that? Lewis Philip Charles Abbott. My cynical views on Mountains, Films and Life in general. Saturday, 23 July 2011. The London Diet, Try it. Heres my London based guide to weight loss. Step 1 - You have to be the right type of fat. The type of people I am talking to is people who are maybe a stone to three stone overweight and are looking to shed that extra weight but still have the ability to move around freely and can see all their toes. Step 2 - Load yourself with unmanageable amounts of debt. Heres the we...
