Spare Me | Electrical Banana
https://matthewphillipomalley.wordpress.com/2013/04/01/spare-me
The h is silent. – Gandhi. April 1, 2013. Seems we’re a bit overexcited. As solstices are approaching. So the very last seasonal poem. Has made its way to my reads. I don’t want to be rude, I get it. This winter was a long and hard one. Snow, ice, their affective disorders. Soup, hibernating, sad songs. So the same old Spring approaches. We’re all deja-vu inspired. But flowers, chirps, and cut grass. Are topics of which I’ve grown tired. I’d bet that up next is next Summer. Pens uncap the following Fall.

The h is silent. – Gandhi. May 1, 2013. That’s a long time. Enough water to settle. The crop and the cattle. A cubit of wet. Part of the reason. Your bread’s outa season. We beg for it. We’re due for it. Wishing, rain dancing. Reel in the clouds. 8211; – – – – – – – – – –. Seriously though, Mr. Weatherman, the drought is over? I remembered writing something about that drought so I dug it out, buffed it out, and posted it. From → My Writing. Emmanuel v. dumlao. I guess our area is currently “two day...
The Dawn Is Quite A Sight | Electrical Banana

The h is silent. – Gandhi. The Dawn Is Quite A Sight. May 15, 2016. I couldn’t sleep this morning. So I rose up in the dark. Put on my shoes, a hoodie too. My dog, she did not bark. The birds are already at work. The sun has not clocked in. My, my, the sound of silence. In the city that I live. I hit the road for fresher milk. My coffee needed help. The roads are oh so empty. And a different feel was felt. The only souls that share this time. Are ones I seldom meet. The night shift crews, the veterans.

The h is silent. – Gandhi. February 14, 2014. You asked for a poem. So I wrote one for you. I haven’t written much lately. Just haven’t felt the need. It’s just, since I met you. I’ve been happy indeed. The cliché, I saw you. I knew what we’d have. The kind that’s all mushy. And drives people mad. Your new middle names. The way you embrace me. You’ve got jokes for days. I love you, Miss Lacy. Back to this rhyming. It’s Valentines day. Oops, no reservations. Grilled cheese, spaghettay? Yes, my self-control.

The h is silent. – Gandhi. February 13, 2014. My name, America. My children fight my war. I’m right, you’re wrong, I’m right. No matter what we’re fighting for. My name, America. I’m bringing fire to you. I’ll win, you’ll lose, I’ll win. No matter what you try to do. My name, America. You stand no chance to live. I’ll fly, you’ll cry, now die. Because you have no place in this. My name, America. My desire has no fault. You’ll give, I’ll take, you’ll give. And I will pierce your ailing heart. Matt is not ...

I'm not ignerant when I say your wrong. I realized that I don't know much about anything, and I suspect, if your honest with yourself, you don't either. Since you just admitted you don't know much, I'm going to talk as if I know what I'm talking about with clever rhetoric and trick you into thinking I actually do know what I'm talking about. Things I do while sitting down. June 24, 2015. Dear mister stark, how are you doing? This what I’m about. Don't tread on me. Invisible forces of nature.
A Personal History – What The Mel
https://melisakmartin.wordpress.com/a-history
This isn't borrowed time, it's mine to keep. Late-night, mid January I, Melisa Katharine Martin was born in the summer of ’87. That is, summer south of the Equator, where hobbits reside in houses in the sides of hills, and the northern point of the Southern Cross guides you home. From that day, in that far away place, I was a poet. After that an interlude. Leg Which meant… crutches for life. I thought it was a death sentence at the time. It took me several years, and several very good frien...Otherwise, ...

Ordinary Girl Seeks Extraordinary Possibilities. Perfectly Imperfect Ramblings of a Wayward Soul. Crumbling- Alexx (A story). Humanity: The Full Scope (A Davidson Fellows Portfolio). Vanity: An epic poem. ALWAYS ON MY MIND. Hear your quiet voice. Your sweet words whispered so tenderly. I imagine your smiles. And it inspires me. Of me I see you. It makes me smile. Of me I see you. The way you long to hold my hand. The way you dream of holding me. The way I wish we could be. And it inspires me. Our lips me...
