I discovered that I had Xcode installed on my Mac, which also meant that I had the iOS simulator, but I still needed to find some sort of error reporting so I could fix it. Perfect. Google roll out Mobile-Friendly update. Posted on April 21, 2015. It’s be rumoured for a few months now, but Google have today confirmed that they have rolled out their mobile-friendly update. I am finding that I am being asked to convert non-responsive websites to become mobile-friendly more often recently – in fact, I’ve done three sites already this month. Cleaning Up Hacked Sites. Posted on June 24, 2015. One of the downsides to developing with WordPress is that it is subject to the brunt of an army of hack attempts. This is mainly due to it being the world’s most popular CMS and therefore the biggest target. I always install security plugins as a matter of course on any website that I develop, it doesn’t take long to do and will harden the site against many types of attacks and so it well worth doing. My plugins of choice are iThemes Security.

So this time next week I will hopefully be sitting somewhere(maybe in bed) with a glass of wine having completed my first iron distance triathlon. Well, I can quite honestly say that a few years ago I would have laughed in your face if you told me I was going to do an ironman, but here I am having just completed it in 11hours 47 minutes. I signed up when I was pregnant with Bodi who is now 8 months old- something to motivate me to get fit again! The run took in 26 miles of Chateaus and vineyards with 23 wine stops along the way. Fancy dress is compulsory and the theme this year was ‘tales and legends’.
