It's All About Making Memories. June 20, 2014. Last day of DL passes. Sadly, our passes have expired. But what a fun year it's been! Avery's been wanting to meet Elsa and Anna for awhile now, so we did it just for her, much to Devin's dismay. :). And we did the canoes for the first time ever. I have never, in my entire life, done the canoes. It was the perfect day to do them because the weather was overcast and nice. I do believe I have been on every single ride now that we did this. :).

It's All About Making Memories. June 18, 2014. I didn't take any pictures, other than this one! For Kirk's 50th, my parents came to watch the kids and Kirk and I went to Vegas just for one night. We stayed at New York New York, like we've always wanted to. Got a great deal on one of the discount sites and just look at this room! We spent most of our time there just because we've been to Vegas so many times and this room was too nice to leave. Even had a jacuzzi. Ahhhh, the life. Last day of DL passes.

It's All About Making Memories. June 18, 2014. On the first Thursday of June Avery promoted out of 5th grade! She's going on to middle school. Yikes! Here she is receiving her Promotion certificate from her teacher, Mrs. Dietterle. And here she is standing to be recognized for Principal's Honor Roll - all A's again! So stinking proud of her! It's All About Making Memories. June 9, 2014. Over Spring Break we went to our favorite place on earth - Pismo Beach! Got the spot we requested right next to the park, which makes for an extra good time. Of course, some sort of baseball has to be a part of our day. :). Kirk was starting his business up in that area, so after one of his estimates, we hit the batting cages. They were bogus, so we traded it in for go carts. Much more fun! We had beautiful weather! Hello Mr. Crab. Such a pretty drive.

It's All About Making Memories. June 18, 2014. Mariners 2014 Spring Season. Devin was on the Mariners and they were quite the team! They ended up going the entire season undefeated (17 games), then post season, undefeated (7 more games), then won 2 out of the 3 games to take the WORLD SERIES! Here are my favorites from this season. Great job, Devin! He had an over the fence GRAND SLAM too! For the first half of the season Kirk was 3rd base coach. He then took over the pitching machine.
