Curse the pop perceptions of love, loss, and despair. Love is not the question or the answer. Grief does not merely expire, it does not have a shelf life. Struggling and the struggle to cope do not simply expire. Such deep reaching emotion is residual rather than fleeting. The complexity of true grief and seeming helplessness is built on confusion and disorder. A state in which one's humanity is revoked and replaced with coping mechanisms. It is exponential and unnerving.
