Adventures of the Elkins: November 2009
http://dmkelkins.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 19, 2009. It's been a long time! I can't believe how long it's been since I posted anything.Well, actually I can to be totally honest. it's hard to find time during the day to sit for 10 minutes and I'm usually exhausted, sitting on the couch after the girls go to bed. It's hard to get your creative juices flowing after you've been running around with to little people all day. Anyway, Katelyn is doing great. She is a little ball of energy! Right now she is into everything princess!

Adventures of the Elkins: May 2009
http://dmkelkins.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 26, 2009. What a great day! Dan had the day off so we decided to have a family fun day. After Dan got home from taking Dr. Reid to the airport, we headed to our favorite breakfast spot, University Diner. Very yummy! We picked the perfect spot. The tide was going out so it created this big pool that was about 18 inches deep so Katelyn loved playing in there without worrying about the waves. She had a blast carrying water back and forth and splashing around. Wednesday, May 13, 2009. I know the...

Adventures of the Elkins: September 2009
http://dmkelkins.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 6, 2009. Katelyn turned 3 a couple of weeks ago. She actually got to have 2 parties this year. He actual birthday was while we were on vacation with Dan's family, so we had a celebration then. When we got home, we had another party for my family and Katelyn's friends. They had a ball! My parents bought a bouncy house and slide combo and we put up a little kiddie pool and the kids went to town. I must admit that the game Elefun. Was by far the hit of the party. Monday, May 10, 2010. Mother's Day and Katelynisms. So, it's been a little while. Life is crazy when you have two kids under the age of 4. It's chaotic, but I wouldn't change it for the world. Those girl are my heart. It's been really interesting have a daughter that is starting to have a mind of her own. She is saying some of the funniest things. In honor of Sarah Morgan, I will call them "Katelynisms.". Katelyn: "You almost caught me with my finger in my mouth! With a big smile on her face). He Makes A...

Adventures of the Elkins: Teacher Appreciation Week #2
http://dmkelkins.blogspot.com/2011/04/teacher-appreciation-week-2.html
Tuesday, April 26, 2011. Teacher Appreciation Week #2. Again I am stealing from eighteen25. I love this site! You should definitely check it out! For Katelyn's teachers, I had bought 2 small Yankee Candle jars when I had a BOGO coupon awhile back so I pulled those out and they were perfect. I cut out on of the printables from the site, glued it on pretty pink paper and taped it on the back. Then I just tied a simple silver curling ribbon bow and Wah-La! Two cute teacher gifts! God is so good! Dads Walk o...

Monday, June 29, 2009. The Joys of Raising a Daddy's Girl. I am actually very thankful Katelyn is such a Daddy's girl. He is such a wonderful example to her. I couldn't ask for any better, nor could I find it if I was looking (and I'm not). Thanks Dan for being the best daddy in the world! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Adventures of the Elkins: January 2011
http://dmkelkins.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 28, 2011. I HAD SO MUCH FUN! Wednesday night, one of my dreams came true. I got to go see Barry Manilow live in concert. Loved it! Our seats were pretty far away but I didn't care. It was just so cool to see him perform live. His opening act was kinda lame. He was the creator of the TV show "The Mentalist." His tricks were cool, but after growing up going to all the David Copperfield shows, it was all stuff I had seen before. He was kinda crude too so that didn't help. Anyway, one of my d...

Adventures of the Elkins: July 2009
http://dmkelkins.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 8, 2009. It seems like I am surrounded by death. Not even thinking about the celebrities who have passed away in the last week or so, it just seems to be everywhere. One of my good friends from high school, Lindsay Murphy lost her little girl yesterday just 1 hour after birth from complications. She never breathed on her own. (You can read her story on forsydney. Then today a sweet girl, just 18 years old, drowned with her 18 month old daughter in a neighborhood. Pool Tiffany Sykes Cecconi.

Adventures of the Elkins: Teacher Appreciation Week
http://dmkelkins.blogspot.com/2011/04/teacher-appreciation-week.html
Monday, April 25, 2011. This week is Teacher Appreciation Week at Katelyn's school. I'm excited number one, because I really do believe Katelyn has the best teachers, and number two, I get to put some of my "copy-craftiness" to use! A friend introduced me to a new blog last week called How Does She. I've had so much fun looking through the site and getting some great ideas! Anyway, from that blog I found another blog called eighteen25. A very cute, yet inexpensive gift! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
