Call Me Tiff: January 2010
http://youcancallmetiff.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 9, 2010. Please don't mention Freud. Tonight we watched Blake grab a pair of flashy panties off the drying rack, and ultimately, try to put them on. And I found myself entirely conflicted. Sure, they're women's underwear. Sure, they're his mother's underwear. But he was trying to dress himself! I think I'll go with proud. And I'll start saving for his therapy now, given that I'm about to publish this online. Friday, January 1, 2010. My New Year's Resolution. And on that note, it is a.

Call Me Tiff: June 2009
http://youcancallmetiff.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Friday, June 26, 2009. The truth is out there. I have a confession. I love TV dinners. Always have. There's something so comforting about a complete meal, already prepared, and ready in mere minutes. I also love integrity. It's a value I hold in high regard, and it's so hard to come by these days. But I've found it, dear readers. I've found it in a most unlikely place. Now there's a phenomenon I've observed for a few years now, as I'm sure you all have. Have you ever found yourself saying, "I remember.

Call Me Tiff: To the Keene cousins
http://youcancallmetiff.blogspot.com/2011/02/to-keene-cousins.html
Tuesday, February 15, 2011. To the Keene cousins. To my precious siblings and cousins:. Words can't describe everything that I've been feeling since being with all of you this weekend. But words are my life, so of course I'm going to try. It can't be said enough: I love you. You are all special, unique (and yet, we're all the same), and amazing. I am thankful for each and every one of you, and am in awe of the people that you've become. Now all of you hold-outs: get on Facebook. ;). I love you,.

Call Me Tiff: My New Year's Resolution
http://youcancallmetiff.blogspot.com/2010/01/my-new-years-resolution.html
Friday, January 1, 2010. My New Year's Resolution. I knew #1 right off the bat: regularly attend church. We've really lapsed on this one lately, initially because of work schedule and travel, then paranoia about H1N1 for Blake, then we just got lazy. Unacceptable, especially since we have a young one to mold and influence. And on that note, it is a. I love scrapbooking. Love it. But I have several books that are unfinished. Some unstarted. I. Make time for this creative outlet. #4. Your resolutions (or o...

Call Me Tiff: March 2009
http://youcancallmetiff.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 18, 2009. Blake is exactly nine months old today. At the doctor yesterday he was 28 1/4 inches tall (50th percentile), 19lbs 10oz (just above 25th percentile), with a head circumference of 45 7/10cm (just above 50th percentile). He didn't cry at all when the nurse took his blood, but screamed bloody murder while I put his clothes back on. Terrific. So much has happened in the last month! About two weeks ago, he started crawling. Last Friday, he cut his first tooth. Friday, March 13, 2009.

The Palmers: December 2008
http://txpalmers.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 8, 2008. So sorry for not posting for so long. Life gets busy this time of year. Here are a few photos of the kids prior to and during Thanksgiving. C got to dress as a pilgrim and celebrate Plymouth day at school and later dress as an indian for a school wide thanksgiving feast. N's class had a feast too, but I was not allowed to stay long or take pictures. :) there were no costumes at that one either:). I will plan better next year! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). http://txpalmers.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 27, 2008. Well we are no longer parents of a preschooler. C joined her brother at "big kid" school this week. Mom delt with it very well because C was so happy to go. But I will miss her company. But not the tornado of messes she would leave around the house. ;). N is now considered in Intermediate school. (aka the upper grades) so he is big man on campus. He has grow to 5'3". He's taller than me on his tiptoes. He loves that. Me not so much! Coming home from school on her first bus ride.

The Palmers: September 2008
http://txpalmers.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 19, 2008. Well folks we made it to the other side unscathed but more appreciative of electircity and suppliers of ice! C was bound and determined to help our neighbors get there tree to stand up again. To no avail, but valiant effort! The pile of debris is so common here right now. Every house has nothing smaller than what C is standing next to at the curb. FEMA is in charge of getting it moved out so we may be decorating it for Christmas! Friday, September 12, 2008. All is currently we...

The Palmers: C looses first tooth!!!!!!!!!!!!!
http://txpalmers.blogspot.com/2009/06/c-looses-first-tooth.html
Wednesday, June 10, 2009. C looses first tooth! After a year of waiting, somewhat patiently, C finally lost her tooth on the last day of Kindergarten! She bit into a blowpop and really knocked it loose (ouch) it hurt like the dickens, for a day, but the morning of her last day of school, it fell out as she walked down the stairs to breakfast! In her class this year each child that lost a tooth was able to sign a tooth poster, and most of her class already had. It was killing her! Kyle and Brittany Hoff.
