Enter your search terms. Tuesday, April 24, 2007. So i started off messing around with nurbs. I wasn't going for a particular shape or based my lines on anything, everything was completely arbitrary. After getting a basic shape i used a modifier called create UV loft surface. It created a weird shape, butI moved curves and deleted points. I created a pretty cool shape as shown below, and then added a lattice modifier. I then made an ambient Occlusion pass. Made a standard color pass. TED talks Jeff Han.

Also from the website they have basic tutorials for beginners that give an overview of alot of the functions found in 3ds Max. I did the one title "Lights and Rendering.". Friday, May 4, 2007. So one of my friends ( Matt Nolan. And I decided to have a little fun and do an animation in Maya. So we downloaded a rig from rigging101.com. And worked some maya magic. So in Maya the most important tool is the rotate tool because it is how you move all of the joints and body parts.
