Monday, July 25, 2011. So, of course, there is a major accident on the Mojave Highway (route 15 through the desert) and we come to a complete stop in 101 deg heat w/o AC. Sat there for about 30 minutes until we got going again. Another major accident at the 15-215 junction just north of Fontana. Traffic kept moving but still slow go. Sigh. Sunday, July 24, 2011. At this rate it will take me 2 days to make it to the Denver area, which I wasn't necessarily planning on going to anyway. It would include a miserable drive across Utah (hot hot hot). So, perhaps I'll hook up through Salt Lake City and then through Nevada into Northern CA. It's got to be cooler than here. The wife and I took over responsibility for the building located at 2100 Larimer St., in the ballpark district of downtown Denver.
