KickSomeAsphalt: May 2007
http://hurleybike.blogspot.com/2007_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 11, 2007. Can't we all just get along? I don't understand why people insist upon perpetuating the mountain biking vs. road riding thing. They're different, but both are great. They're both fun. They're both hard. They each have their own challenges and rewards. Many people who I know who do both, myself included, prefer one over the other, but enjoy both. Why do some people who only participate in one of the two feel the need to belittle the other? I don't get it. What's the point? I couldn't...

KickSomeAsphalt: March 2006

Friday, March 10, 2006. Or maybe even 844W! I'm not sure which software is more accurate. So, today I did my first outdoor sprint workout of the season. I should start by saying that I hate sprint workouts. I'm not a sprinter. I never claimed to be one, I just try not to embarrass myself with a totally pathetic sprint. Posted by Michelle at 7:36 PM. KickSomeAsphalt: July 2007
http://hurleybike.blogspot.com/2007_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 10, 2007. Nationals.Panic, but Mostly Frustration. So, other than that, there is nothing to report. A pretty boring day, but I'm getting excited about leaving tomorrow. I'm excited to race, for sure, but I'm also really ready to be somewhere else. Until tomorrow. Posted by Michelle at 7:32 PM. Monday, July 09, 2007. Nationals.Rest and Freaking Out. It doesn't even work out to something normal in the metric system. 15 is too fast? I don't get it. See, like I said, too much time to think ...

KickSomeAsphalt: April 2007

Monday, April 30, 2007. Dusting off the blog. To say that it has been awhile would be a gross understatement. Though, in my defense (a lame one at that), I have been contributing to the Incline Training Team. Blog regularly. It is my goal to keep up with my own blog now that things are settling down at school and I'm a month away from 14 months of vacation. Yep, next year is sabbatical year for me. Yippee! Anyway, thanks for stopping by and I hope that I can give you something to check out more frequently.

Sunday, February 19, 2006. Post-Lance Cycling on TV. Posted by Michelle at 3:02 PM. Thursday, February 16, 2006. Gotta Love New England. OK, so I checked. it really is February 16th. You wouldn't know by the weather outside today. Sunny, 60 degrees outside. Perfect riding weather. If only. I want to know why we keep getting these unseasonably warm days on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Why not Saturday and/or Sunday? Posted by Michelle at 10:08 PM. MA, United States. KickSomeAsphalt: October 2006

Thursday, October 05, 2006. A Wisconsin State Representative, Frank Lasee, thinks that school safety would be increased if teachers, administrators and even janitors were trained and carried guns. Let's just throw more guns at the problem. That's intelligent. I can't imagine having to carry a gun as a teacher. No way. Posted by Michelle at 12:31 PM. Tuesday, October 03, 2006. Monday, May 08, 2006. My Cat 2 sticker arrived today. :) Now I can't succumb to the temptation to do a 3/4 race anymore. Although, after Jiminy Peak on Saturday, I don't think I need a sticker to keep me out of those races. What a mess. Jiminy is quite deserving of a rant, but I don't have the energy at the moment to do it appropriately. Maybe tomorrow. Posted by Michelle at 10:56 PM. Friday, May 05, 2006. Sunday, June 17, 2007. Today was the death march known as the Housatonic Hills Road Race. Why does this race always suck so much for me? After what felt like a decent TT effort for the next 15 miles, I seriously considered dropping out after the first lap, but as I passed the start, Josh. And yes, I'll go back next year. KickSomeAsphalt: August 2006
http://hurleybike.blogspot.com/2006_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, August 12, 2006. My anonymity is slowly disappearing. That's probably a good thing. I've been hanging out in the background reading other people's blogs for months now with only having told a couple of people of the existence of my own blog. As Thomas Friedman would say, it's time for me to join in the flattening of the world. And embrace my role in globalization as an "uploader." Ah yes, one more blog to add to the 51 million already out there. Why stop with a blog? MA, United States.
