The Adventures of Polar Bear and Barbie. Saturday, March 28, 2015. On Saturday Matt and I visited Springs Preserve specifically to see the butterfly exhibit. There were butterflies everywhere. It was amazing to see their beautiful details up close. After viewing the butterflies we walked through the garden. Before leaving we explored the exhibit on the history of chocolate, because everyone needs a dorky picture of themselves in front of giant chocolates. Posted by Elise Britton. The Adventures of Polar Bear and Barbie. Thursday, July 23, 2015. After walking the Macuco Trail in Iguazu Falls National Park we rode the train from the Central Station to Del Diablo Station. We exited the train and had our first encounter with the pesky coati, a relative of the racoon, which makes sense since they were a nuisance. The Adventures of Polar Bear and Barbie. Sunday, May 25, 2014. Matt and I drove to Mount Charleston to hike in the mountains. Yes, Las Vegas has mountains with trees. Commence pictures of trees. We chose a hike called Big Falls which is not really a hike. We left the trail to follow a riverbed to the waterfall. We did a lot of rock scrambling. Friday, July 6, 2012. Hawaii, part 2. The next day we went up to the north shore to a place called shark's cove for some snorkeling. It was a great day with perfect weather. But first we got a little lunch across the street because I am not a nice person when I am hungry these days. This is my "feed me" face. This is Andrew's hungry face. We saw lots of fishes and then laid on the beach to dry off. Light breeze, minimal clouds, perfect temperature-what more could a girl ask for? I think he wants one.

Wednesday, October 26, 2011. We had so much fun there. We went to all the shows and spent all day there. I am so amazed by all the animals and the shows they put on. The killer whales were so cool. They would go around the pool and splash people with their tails and everyone in the first 15 rows got soaked. And I mean soaked. Ok, seriously how cool are these guys. They would swim up on to this platform and use their tales to spin themselves around a few times and "break dance". And now on to the dolphins.

Tuesday, December 6, 2011. New couch, Thanksgiving and Christmas decorations. We have been looking for a new coffee table for a while and we went into a local furniture store called the Potato Barn to take a look. We came out with a couch. What! Ya, we impulse buy. We have hated our couch for many moons for multiple reasons. We saw this one and fell in love immediately. And its super comfy. And now for Thanksgiving. I have a problem for cooking for just two people, but we had amazing leftovers for a week!
