I find myself continually drawn to the male athletic body. Strong legs, a lean and tight torso, sinewy arms with visible veins, broad shoulders, a chiseled jaw. Finding male love is what drives me - not love from any male, but from a male who represents vivacity, cleanness, purity, strength. The idea of finding a healthy community where men maintain their looks and health easily makes me feel hope. The idea that this community doesn't exist makes me feel despair. Maybe one day this will all make sense.

Acceptance, and/or Resignation, I don't know which. Friday, June 6, typed at the gym during a frantic last-minute workout before leaving town:. I am so fucking unstable. Saturday, June 7, typed early AM before my racemates woke up:. I have a drinking problem. Drank early last night, drank more than I wanted to. Question I keep seeing in regards to assessing drinking situations: am I really having fun? Would this be any fun without alcohol? What would I rather be doing? One of the many reasons I drink.
