To home exchange or not to home exchange? Preparing for travel in a completely different way. One week still no exchange. Now it is time to assess the situation. I have sent out ten requests. I have received seven responses. Two of those responses have accepted but have not committed to a date. I have two choices: A) send another e mail B) find another exchange. I am going with B). I want to add that at this moment I am missing the convenience and simplicity of hotel reservations. January 19, 2015.

To home exchange or not to home exchange? Preparing for travel in a completely different way. I still have not heard from Martha’s Vineyard. I can only guess that my request for a 2 week exchange rather than a month was the deal breaker. I am now disappointed and second guessing myself. Very similar to the emotional roller coaster when selling your home. Taking a proactive approach, I search up more homes, send out requests and wait. January 15, 2015. 2 thoughts on “ Still waiting.
