For those of you, like me, who have NO IDEA where the Bikini Atoll Islands are, they are located somewhere between Hawaii and Australia and are too small to see on a regular map, unless you zoom in to 1,000 %. Garrett at age 15 1/2. Garrett's Fall Ball Championship Team. Grant at age 13. Gracie at age 10. Here are some other random pictures of our fall/winter activities:. We were able to get all of t...

Diary of a Fly-fisherman's wife. Tuesday, February 12, 2013. SEE what's DRIVING us these days. We have had so much going on these past few weeks. I don't have much time for a long post, but I thought I would share a couple of photos anyway. Last week Grant got glasses. On the same day his buddy, Fisher, got glasses as well. They are pretty stylin' don't you think? Garrett and his buddy, Hunter, went down to the DMV yesterday and got their Learner's Permits. Look out St. George! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Diary of a Fly-fisherman's wife: May 2014

Diary of a Fly-fisherman's wife. Saturday, May 17, 2014. Dr Parry. Here we come! I know Dr. Parry appreciates our business. He has treated Gracie's 4 broken bones, my dislocated knee, the bursitis in my hip, and Grant's broken arm. I am quite sure we have paid for a couple of the REALLY nice cars that he and his family members drive. I told my kids, the next car I am buying had better be my own. This is Grant, cast-free for now. Beam me up, Gracie! Saturday, May 3, 2014. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Karen...

Diary of a Fly-fisherman's wife: February 2014
http://russhydefamily.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Diary of a Fly-fisherman's wife. Wednesday, February 12, 2014. Who had the better birthday? This was a hard year for me. I turned the big 4-0. I always laughed at people that would get depressed over a birthday because in actuality you are just 24 hours older that you were the day before. Right? So, it is official. he can drive and date now. Which really makes me feel like I am 40 now. Sunday, February 9, 2014. We finally had Garrett's Eagle Court of Honor! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Diary of a Fly-fisherman's wife: The beginning of Baseball season- SAME OL' STORY
http://russhydefamily.blogspot.com/2014/04/the-beginning-of-baseball-season-same.html
Diary of a Fly-fisherman's wife. Sunday, March 9, 2014. The beginning of Baseball season- SAME OL' STORY. Can I just express how much I detest the start of EVERY baseball season! Only one other boy was equal with him in batting. The other boys only had 2-3 hits the entire tournament. He just really OUT-SHINED every other player except the one. Garrett was feeling so great about his chance of making the JV/Varsity team. I wanted him to quit! I was so tired of baseball politics! I am grateful that Heavenly...

Diary of a Fly-fisherman's wife: January 2013
http://russhydefamily.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Diary of a Fly-fisherman's wife. Sunday, January 13, 2013. Today it is OFFICIAL. We are so excited. He is all smiles, and so are his parents. Russ finally got to scratch this off of his To Do List. I think it has been on there for 2 years. On Saturday, we drove down to Mesquite and watched their games. It was freezing cold, but so fun to be there. We learned a lot about Rugby (since we knew nothing before going down there) and had fun watching "our boys" play the brutal sport. Wednesday, January 9, 2013.

Diary of a Fly-fisherman's wife: Another Hyde mishap
http://russhydefamily.blogspot.com/2014/04/we-just-couldnt-be-hydes-without-ton-of.html
Diary of a Fly-fisherman's wife. Friday, March 21, 2014. We just couldn't be the Hydes without a ton of drama, sports and a cast. Grant was in quite a bit of pain by the time we got to the hospital. He never did cry, but he whimpered a lot. Unfortunately, I was showing very little sympathy for him. Lacrosse season was just starting. We were supposed to be traveling to California in 5 days for his second to last gymnastics meet. I was mad! Now, Russ and I are sitting right there. I am watching his EKG...

Diary of a Fly-fisherman's wife: April 2013
http://russhydefamily.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Diary of a Fly-fisherman's wife. Wednesday, April 24, 2013. 1 Grant is our comic relief. He is just down-right funny. He always has a joke, or a quote, or a re-enactment of something silly. He doesn't embarrass easily, so he puts himself out there. I love that about him. 2 Grant has more self-esteem than the rest of our family put together. Grant is very confident in himself and his skills. He is not afraid to try new things. 6 Grant is a good friend. Grant is truly accepting of everyone. He love...7 Gra...
