Connoisseur of Stories and Traveler of Foreign Lands. Tuesday, April 20, 2010. Welcome to Irish Class. So Saturday was more or less a day of rest. We got settled into living here in Gleann. On Sunday it was glorious out and we hiked up the side of the valley, onto the cliffs where we saw a Napoleonic. Yesterday evening Don Byrne, a local writer, came and gave a poetry reading and talked to us about writing poetry. He will be leading poetry workshops later on in our stay here. So so excited. I have already met up with one of my friends who is staying at the same hostel. We're going to meet up with a few others tomorrow.
