Monday, November 8, 2010. The Sun’ll Come Out Tomorrow. Not “ON Tomorrow”. People, please. Just stop. I don’t know where it came from, but let me tell you … hearing or seeing the words “on tomorrow” or “on yesterday” grates my nerves like you wouldn’t believe. Is it a Southern thing – this use of the grammatically incorrect phrase? Generally, you’ll hear or read the word “tomorrow” used as an adverb as in “I’ll drop by your house on tomorrow.” (Ouch! Was that the sound of nails dragging down a chalkboard?
