One of the newest musical gear I have purchased is the Yamaha CS1X Control Synthesizer. The Yamaha CS1X is designed for the Dance music market having some great analog type sounds. But it can also be used for ambient music and in XG mode as a multi-timbral synthesizer. The Yamaha CS1X has two main modes, the performance mode and the multi mode.
